Monthly rate r = annual interest rate ÷ 1,200. For outstanding P and n months, EMI = P × r ÷ (1 − (1 + r)⁻ⁿ). At 0%, EMI = P ÷ n.
With monthly EMI E, tenure = −ln(1 − P × r ÷ E) ÷ ln(1 + r). At 0%, tenure = P ÷ E. The payoff month is rounded up, with a smaller final payment. An EMI that does not cover monthly interest cannot repay the balance.
Total remaining interest = total remaining payments − outstanding. Consolidation principal is the sum of entered balances. Totals use unrounded figures; displayed rupees are rounded.
Rates are assumed fixed, payments monthly at month-end, and no further spending, missed payments or charges occur. Cards use the same reducing-balance estimate and your assumed payoff tenure or EMI; this is not a minimum-payment model or a card statement calculation.
A lower monthly EMI does not necessarily mean lower total interest.
